Although we are the cheapest hostel in Taipei, we offer many amenities. We have laundry, a full kitchen, living room with air conditioning, and a nice outdoor rooftop area for residents and their friends. You will get the best value here! Come and meet people from all around the world!
ROOFTOP
One of the unique and popular social features of the Taipei Hostel is its rooftop balcony. Sitting atop the common area, the rooftop balcony is a popular place for residents and guests to gather and chat, play cards and games, or just relax with good book or an adult beverage. The balcony also has a covered roof that offers protection from the rain.
LIVING ROOM
One of the most popular features of the Taipei Hostel is a large open common area, with fans and air-conditioning. It's available for residents and their guests 24 hours a day. The Cable TV is also available 24 hours a day. (Most of the visitors enjoy watching movies in the evening). The common area (or living room) at the Taipei Hostel is a nice place to relax among friends. The lobby has internet access 24 hours a day.
LAUNDRY
The Taipei Hostel is one of the few hostels to offer a fully functional laundry area, with a coin-opperated washer and dryer. There is also a clothing line and a ironing board available.
STORAGE FACILITIES
There are storage rooms available where your personal belongings can be stored for 100NT, in case you want to continue your travels without having to lug ALL of your luggage with you. Guests can always store their luggage in the living room for a few hours, if necessary. Dorm rooms have large lockers available. They are spacious enough for any backpack or suitcase.
KITCHEN
The kitchen is available for residents of Taipei Hostel 24 hrs. There is a water filter machine that dispenses cold and hot water, a gas stove, refrigerator, and shared plateware as well as silverware. We only ask you to clean up after use.
